Does this 2014 Mercedes CLA250 interior remind anyone of something? It can't be just me.

Looks just like ours. Same as the SL’s sides strakes of the late 2000’s. Mercedes used a lot designing cues from the Crossfire years after the split. Kind of ironic seeing as they seemed to have hated the car in my opinion. 🤷🏼*♂️

 

Actually, I believe it to be the other way 'round. Much of the Crossfire is right out of the Mercedes SL line. Not just the interiors.

I was looking to buy an SL300 Mercedes when the Crossfire was introduced. The interiors are virtually the same.
My Crossfire Roadster has the same salmon seats that I was planning to buy in the Mercedes.
