Default Opinions on a new car

Well as of next month I will be crossfireless. It was a great time and an enjoyable ride everytime. But I'm gonna focus on having only one 2 seater and the corvette takes priority. I'm looking to get a four door, luxury, performance oriented car. My choices include:

c55
CTS-V
S4
S60R
The new 335i (i know its a coupe)
IS350
M45 sport

Anyone have experience with these or can recommend another to consider? Price range is less than 60k, unless I get promoted then it jumps to 75k. Please give me some input.

Nice, at 22 you have some nice choices. I like the 335 also, but I have been bimmerized. Make sure you try the others, they will not dissapoint.

Uh, what about a 300C SRT8. 2007's are going to get a few new goodies. Or even better, the 2006's can be had for a really good price under the EPP. jmtc

The 300C is not luxury enough for me at this point. I'm looking for a tad more. So no one really likes the Audi or MB? What about the GS430h?

I'd say get the MB if you can, what ever you do, don't get the over priced GM though.

Thumbs up Re: Opinions on a new car

I was going to say the new S4 w/o a doubt, but its a little over $70K for an '06, but that car is awesome none the less. Maybe you could get a used '05 S4, I mean its AWD, 6 spd, V8 w/ 340 hp and a four door, simply AWESOME. Staying in the year round car, how about the Volvo S60R. Its got all the goodies like the S4, although heavier and less sporty, but none the less all the hardware, AWD, 6 spd, Brembos, 300 hp / 300 ft/lbs of torque, 5 cyl turbo w/twin intercoolers and that interior, one of the best out there IMO!

I'm not sure where you live, but if weather isn't a factor my next choice would be the CTS-V, a nice compliment to the Corvette BTW seeing its got the LS1.
