Kansas City is more centrally located. KC has great food, entertainment, shopping, museums, a track and casinos! It's got it all.

I chose St. Louis because I want us to all park on Franc's lawn!

Next time we should pick Orlando - not central at all, but I hear that there is a lot of stuff to do there!!! Oh yeah & I live there so everyone can park on MY lawn!!

I've been to Kansas City and it would be a nice meeting place. But I have not been to Omaha, nor St Louis. Don't know that I've ever wanted to go to Omaha, but have always wanted to visit St Louis, therefore St Louis gets my vote.

Do I win something for mentioning St Louis this many times in one post?

Gary definitely put me on the list I will be there as long as it doesn't cause a problem with my new job.

I voted KS but St.Louis works too. I'll be coming from either Villanova,PA or Allentown,PA. Let me know if there is help needed with organizing things here - i'll do my best. Also if somebody else would be driving from PA/NJ/NY we should def get together somewhere and cruise along

Kim, deep down inside I really voted for St. Louis for the exact same reason.

Coming down from Seattle, it is likely not going to make much difference in the grand scheme of things... St Louis seems to be most fun, and I can likely drive through the other locations on the way there, and on the way back...

St. Louis got my vote. Can you picture a hunderd or more Crossfires set up with the Arch in the background. Would be very cool IMHO.

Gary put me down as interested. It would be worth the drive for St. Louis Toasted Ravioli.

How about a little info about each one. For example, what tracks are available at each?

We need to close on a location and what we want to do once we get there. dedwards0323 has made suggestions for both Omaha and Topeka tracks and has been persuing options there (thanks!) St. Louis and KC both also have tracks of some kind.

The choice will come down to other items such as sightseeing opportunities, lodging and entertainment. Obviously the larger cities will have the most choices of those things. I have listed the poll to close in 2 weeks and majority will rule as to the final destination. Once that is done we can proceed on with all the other arrangements.

Please refrain from suggesting any other destinations.

The poll above has the final 4 cities to choose from.
These cities were the final choice because they are the closest to the center of the US.
So vote now !

Thanks to all

Can't speak for the others, but this is what I had in another thread regarding race tracks.

we do have the Gateway International Raceway in the area and they seem to offer their track time from time to time Gateway Test and Tune/SCSS/High School Eliminator/Doc's Harley Davidson Quick Street Bike; this might appeal to some of you.

West coasters, I would drive further if need be to see you guys attend, but you have to vote in big numbers here in order to get everyone else's attention...all those locations would work for me...so, west coast, speak up or else....I know there are at least 20 of ya out there...

Duh!
Sorry West Coasters.

Like I said. Too far for west coasters. Don't see too many of them attending.
