Default 2005 SRT6, Saskatchewan

I just picked up a 2005, 15000 mile black SRT6 from a neighbour in White City, Saskatchewan. This forum has been a great help in learning about the car. For one, I discovered that the i/c pump has been changed. It runs well enough that I'm planning a 1500 km drive to British Columbia tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Welcome and good luck on the trip. When you get back get the buffer out and get rid of those swirl marks in the paint. Learn how on this forum.
Black always looks great when polished, but not with swirls in it.
Mind you they look great for five minutes until the dust settles on it again, I know I had a black Crossfire once.

Thanks for the info.
I'm 55, and I've got 340 powered '27 Tudor,' 50 Jeepster and an old Ford p-up. There's not much I can't do on a vehicle.

We began the trip from White City, Saskatchewan to Penticton, BC this morning & it's been good so far. The car ran flawlessly, at least as far as the Frank Slide. Tomorrow will be a new day.

Later,
So, I hadn't seen a Crossfire for a couple of years, but on this trip to BC I saw a roadster in Medicine Hat, Alberta & there's a roadster parked across the street from my father's place. Check out my Instagram account at 1927tudor for the other interesting vehicles I saw this trip.

Got home today from the maiden voyage, put on about 1700 miles. The car ran flawlessly, lots of power, handles great, averaged about 80 mph. Fuel economy was no great shakes, but I knew that going in. It spins too high on the highway for decent mileage. The only issue was my "light out" notification popped up on the dash. A daytime running light went out.
Great car!
