Crossfire won't start
Re: Crossfire won't start
Good Morning everyone. The Crossfire breathes life again. Took it to the dealer and explained to them what I had changed on the car and gave the orders not to change anything without calling me first. They ran the codes and guess what it came back as the Screem as everyone thought. The Skreem module cost $259.00 not bad I thought but the labor was $541.50 to install and $85.00 to read the codes. I thought that was high for 2 to 3 hours of work. Both keys work as they should now and she fires up when asked.
I want to thank each of you for your input on this issue and staying with me to the end. I have tried to document everything thing I did with this problem so someone else may benefit from this. Now it's time to drive it and enjoy. Stay safe and keep it between the ditches

Awesome you are rolling again! By chance did they write all of the codes down on the repair ticket? I would be interested in which exact ones they are.

Of interest.... "There have been a few reported cases of relay control modules not supplying the proper power feed to the PCM."
This circuit would be interesting to trace out and prove when others get the dreaded three tries then no crank.

Interesting, it looks like some type of tech support case response.

Too often the part is not tested properly and scrapped.
