Just bought a 2004 black with 19,500 km on it for $10000. No more coaching the kids as of tomorrow so I can retire my +300,000 km pt cruiser! Week two and the car is in the shop. The car must have been stored under a tree and all the leaves blocked the drainage off the front window. When I turned on the defrost the water poured in. They took everything apart, wet vaced it and now it is in the basement or the shop drying. Love the car and it is fun to get back into a roadster (used to have a 280z).

Welcome to the neighborhood! I see you found the finest car enthusiast forum on the Interwebs. Too bad about the car going into the shop so soon. The drainage issue is common on these cars, a quick search will show many have dealt with it. In the future before sending your beauty to the dealers, check in here. This forum knows more about crossfires than any dealer or singular mechanic ( well besides Rudy) Save time and $$$$$$$$$$ on crossfire forum.org. If your interested we have a fine NW chapter. Look us up on Facebook. there is a link in the stickies above.

I would have checked the forum first but time is my enemy at the moment. Have a great service manager who takes very good care of me (that is why my PT has 300,000km and my wifes Sienna 360,000).
I coach hockey, soccer and golf. Had a wind up party last night for soccer (we won the cup yesterday!) and one for hockey tonight then I have time to play with my new toy (as my wife calls the crossfire)
Cheers
