Hello Everyone~

I am Eileen living in SE Michigan. My DH, Daan and I purchased a 2006 black, convertible Crossfire when we lived in Alabama a few years back. Back there he drove it as his daily commuter - when I wasnt able to 'make' him let me drive it that is!

When we moved to Michigan we started keeping it as a seasonal, fun car. It's a lot of fun to drive on beautiful Michigan summer days but we cant drive it at all over winter. We love our Crossfire though so we've kept it.

Nice to meet you all and glad to find this forum! I will post some pictures later.

One question though ......
Why would anyone in their right mind move from Alabama to Michigan ?
( I get to drive my roadster all year - except when it's raining )

That's a question I ask myself at least once a day heh, heh, heh. No.
Really I do even 3 years later. Ours was a corp relo - the DH works for an OEM supplier for.. Chrysler. He used to drive the xfire daily when I wasnt able to pry the keys out of his hand!

It's been garaged over winter and only driven on w/e's since then.

From what I've seen.. that cold weather does seem to preserve the ladies quite well!

Welcome aboard! Don't be afraid to drive the car with the top down when it is cold. That is what the heated seats and heater are for.

Thank you for the invite - We will definitely be there and we live very very close.

Being car lovers & my hub's working for a supplier, we never miss it! In our village events are planned around the Dream Cruise if you know what's good for ya! How will I know where to find our group?

We will of course drive our Black Beauty - If I can get it running. Well it runs but has the dreaded, valve cover oil seep which the dealership 'looked at' and some how magically made much worse (smokes now) and we're afraid to drive it anywhere. They musta started the job before I told them not to do it. (2k? Really?) Color me *Frustrated.*

Keep telling yourself that every time you get in and see all that dust on it..
