I paid to become a Forum Sponsor. This website is amazing and the wealth of information is priceless. The members here are exceptional! I felt the need to support it, having no ads is a bonus treat.

I have to mention one thing, I did notice that when you pay it does make it that you're automatically billed every year. There should be an option not to have that incase one does not want to be re-billed each year, but rather get a notification from the site it self in say an automatic PM or through Paypal that the one year payment will be coming up for renewal soon to extend another year as a Forum Sponsor.

Just an idea..

I concurr. This forum is great and I use it as a tool to learn more and more about the car everyday. It's helped me on numerous occassions and will certainly be vital to us owners who want to keep these cars for a very long time.

I'd like to be a sponsor to but I would prefer not to have auto billing feature. Can this be set up? If so, a simple email reminder to those of us that would prefer this option will prompt us to sign on again each year.

Thanks for hosting this great Forum.

First, I would like to say thanks to everyone who has joined and is an active member here. While I have not been here much lately, I have made sure the forum is always working. There are actually many problems that crop up with these forums that need to be fixed from the back-end. I would like to be more active here, but I have been working on a number of projects that have kept me very busy and were just more important and actually producing revenue. These projects are what keeps this forum running. I know some of you have tried contacting me, and I've been bad with responding, but due to these things I haven't been able to put much time or energy in the site.

CrossfireForum.org is not in any danger of shutting down or anything of that sort. I've said it before -- it really doesn't cost me much at all to run since it is hosted on a server I use for my other projects, which are doing well. However, especially with the economy how it is, and the fact that I just bought an engagement ring and wiped out most of my savings, I guess having a bit of a cushion is always nice. I've hosted this site for more than 6 years and only for a brief period did I even display ads on the site. Many of you have expressed interest in helping out in some way, and I have refused any attempts at this up until now. I have decided to change my stance.

I can't stress enough that you should not feel obligated to sponsor the forum. Even if I didn't put up the ads or have this sponsorship idea, CrossfireForum will not be shutting down at any point that I can visualize. Since it's bound to be a classic, I know people will be interested in discussing it for many, many years to come.

If anyone has any questions please e-mail me at webmaster@crossfireforum.org.
Count me in also for a $20 donation. I have been trying to sign up for this forum for several months but couldn't get past the security question "Who makes the Crossifre?". I read on the door post of my 2005 SRT6 Convertible " Manufactured by Daimler Chrylser Corporation, Assembled by Wilhelm Karmann ". I tried every combination to sign in except the obvious "Chrysler" which finally got me in. You might want to offer alternate questions for others who may be having a problem signing up.

I am anxious to begin interaction with members, especially on technical questions and issues.

This forum is going through a transition right now to be sold to Internet Brands.
At this point I suggest you don't make any payments for sponsorship any longer

So will our annual "automatic" Ebay donations be cancelled?

It's OK to continue your sponsorship. IB will continue with this program, and is addressing these issues. If anyone has any problem after you become a sponsor, please let anyone of the Mods know.

Can a mod help me out? I'm a forum sponsor (renewed my membership a few says ago) but the banners and adds began assaulting me this morning. Thanks.
