Default Need help finding a part

Hello all!! New member in need of help.

I have a 2005 SRT6, and am in search of the little plastic caps that hold down the floor mats. The knuckleheads at the local car wash apparently vacuumed 3 of mine up, and by the time I noticed, it was too late. I have searched every possible thing I can think of on Google, and have come up with zip!! My local Chrysler dealer can't seem to find them in his computer either.

Anyone have a suggestion as to where I can locate the caps?? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

It's an integrated part of the floor mat, if memory serves.

There is a thread here somewhere where they were purchased separately and installed by a member. Part number and price as well.
No
price, but the part number from Mercedes is 800.849.2765 try it.

I think the Mopar part may require that both parts of the clip be installed. So try the Mercedes part first.
Have a look at the parts you still have, Mercedes likes putting the part number on their components.

I ordered a set from my local Chrysler dealer last week, as I was missing one as well. under 5.00 for the pair, although they are slightly different (the post is different size), I changed out both and all is well. You do have to lift the carpet to mount the new posts, then just position the mat and snap on the caps, not too difficult to accomplish.

Thank you all for your input. I did get the one's from Chrysler that are barely the wrong size, but didn't want to mess with pulling the carpet to replace them. I think I will try the Mercedes ones first, before doing the entire replacement.

Again...thanks for your help!!
