The rain didn't bother me so much, it was the decorating that I did not go along with. Our main problem was that she was married on Dec. 27, 2008 and the weather could have been bad but it was 68 degrees that afternoon and even stormed some around in the area but not at the wedding site.

You were lucky weather wise for that time of year in Indiana...I told her she wouldn't fit in the car with the dress unless the top was down anyway!

I guess if it rains I will be out detailing the car in front of the church.....

It time to start planning a few GTG's for this year....I'm open to suggestions for a day trip for lunch or a weekend trip to an event that may be going on in your area.
Let me know what you have in mind!

Terry: I would like to do that trip over to the Garden of the Gods again, with a stop at New Harmony.

They are saying 5.5 inches this weekend and my rain gauge has 4 in it since Saturday morning! I believe the weather man may be right for a change!!
Still better than snow....but not for the folks livng in low areas. Could be the worst flooding since 97.

Just a quick note to let everyone know I am back in AZ and have finally got my new computer on line. I've been here a month and still haven't unpacked, so the X'Fire is setting unwashed in the driveway while the new garage is full of my "road" household goodies. Oh, I do have a driveway now rather than a 2' drop into a mud puddle, so that is one improvement.

Thanks for all of the good times while I was "on the road" in Indiana. I haven't hooked up with the Arizona contingent yet, but I will let you know when I do. AGAIN Thanks for the memories!!!!!

Good to hear from you Dennis.....I'm sure you are glad to be back home. Let us know if you ever get back to your "second" home in Indiana! We haven't taken any road trips this year yet..working on a drive to the Smokies soon. Maybe it will be cooler in the mountains! The West Side Nut Club car show is this Saturday...hope to have at least 1 crossfire it this year.
Take care,
Terry

Dennis. Glad you are home. Dust off the six shooters and go cowboy shooting again....

Since I missed you all who came to the Rockville area, the real "Covered Bridge" Festival is in Oct....so you might want to think about that again...and this time I can make it...'cause I like to go in the fall, a lot more going on...just a suggestion

Really??? I've never heard of that!!! The Smokies have a lot of other interesting things to offer....plus spring and fall trips longer than a weekend never work out for me

Problem was Doc, we were itching for some fun NOW! You old folks can sit on the porch till fall.

Me and Crunpy are running out of time and not wastin' a day. That's why we run with the Fast crowd.

They are, it just takes a bit every now and then. Check out the Fall Dragon and join us there, I'm sure the OVC will be well represented.

We are still around..Have lost a couple because of relocations and work requirements, but we are always looking for more folks to meet up with. A couple of us are headed to Gatlinburg the week of the 18th for a little vacation, but nothing else planned so far. The fall Tail of the Dragon won't work for most of us, but we would like to plan a fall weekend trip to someplace new. Always open to suggestions!!!

We are still alive in southern Indiana! Didn't have a lot of luck getting people together last year, so it's time to try again. Anybody interested in a GTG this spring?
