Well, it's 5 months before X'Fires Across America! Is it too early to start planning? I've got a room reserved at Harrahs from 5/20/10 (Sunday) through 5/24/10 (Thursday). I got the room early on the thought that they would do the performance tuning before the actual event, though I haven't yet seen an event itinerary actually in stone. I also haven't heard if they need any help from us in setting up on Monday, and there's a rumor of a Midwest/Indiana Hospitality Room on Monday night.

I could leave Sunday, or I could leave Monday, but I don't want to leave Tuesday (only a single person could be this flexible). Anyone else got any reservations, plans or thoughts? (It must be all this white stuff falling from the sky and that little red car setting in the garage hooked up to the battery maintainer that makes me think this way).

Correction: That's 6/20/10 to 6/24/10 on the room reservations (I am getting anxious aren't I!)

I made our reservations to arrive on Tuesday. Wasn't sure at that time what was going on and when things were starting. I guess we might be able to arrange to arrive Monday. Not sure about getting another night at Harrah's.
What about everyone else? It would be nice to get a group to meet up on 64 to head in together.
I'm ready! Haven't had the Xfire out since the week before Xmas. Weather was decent and I took a vacation day.....drove up to Mt Vernon, New Harmony and back to E'ville. Just went to the garage and started it up yesterday. How many days still spring????

I'm only about an hour from the Ohio river, but I'm up at the beginning (Pittsburgh).

You guys have fun though - just not too much fun (Doc! Jane!)

Erzer has the schedule for CAA published (I hope attached), so we can see what the itinerary looks like. Breakfast on Tuesday morning, Dinner on Thursday night, and events in between. Looks like we should arrive on Monday and leave Friday morning. I haven't seen any scheduling yet for the "Super Tune" that Roadster w/a Stick was working on, and there's still a persistant rumor about a Poker Tournament, so there may be some more side events to come.

I haven't heard anything about the Westside (Evansville) Nut Club Cruise-In. I think it's June 12 this year. Are we going to show up in force this year, or just Terry again??

I dunno how we're getting there, but I plan to convoy down with +fireamx, RickZ, and TownCrier. I bet we're gonna be shooting down I-70 right through Indy. Wanna meet up with us and join the convoy? We should all try to bring as many in together as we can.

I'm in Lafayette and maybe if the timing is right I would tag along with the group heading on I-70, it is an easy 1 hour from here.

I appreciate the offer, Doc. But I believe all the wives are coming. I'm betting they don't wanna sleep on couches, and there would be 7 of us. I know your house is big, but I know you don't have THAT many bedrooms! LOL

I think they're planning to drive straight through. Maybe we could meet you and the Mrs. for lunch or dinner in Indy? Then roll out from there.

Well, then, hot-diggity. Sounds like Doc's bed & breakfast is a winner. I'll let the others know and we'll figure something out closer to the event. Thanks!

I'm with Jane. If we have a consensus on the design (I like it), we should put the logo on something we can wear for the Spring Dragon, CAA and maybe some of the local events.
