As you may or may not know our friend Matt (Zahanma) is being transferred by his employer to New Jersey at the end of August.
I spoke with him this evening and confirmed that he would be able to attend one last GTG on Sunday Aug 23 before he leaves town.
He would like to see everyone he has met since he has been here and any others are welcome to come out and attend this meet.
All locals and out of towners are welcome as always.

I suggest we meet at Champps in Schaumburg, Ill at 11:00 for a meet and greet followed by lunch at 12:00
A cruise may follow lunch if a majority of you want to enjoy a drive afterwords and stop for some photos.
Please post on this thread if you will attend this meet to say farewell to Matt.

Hey all,

Just thought I would post up before I head off to wind down the evening.

I've been in India now for two weeks. It has been filled with incredibly long days of work and even longer nights of....non-work.

I will be back on Saturday at about noon...the car is however, at Eurocharged, getting some goodies put in. I'm hoping and praying that it will be done for Sunday. If not I may just be driving Jerry's 1 series or something.

Either way.... I am coming, if I have to borrow a unicycle or rollerblades.

I'll be there.

I appreciate everyone who is coming so far.

I just wanted to say however, that this isn't really a farewell GTG for me...this is a Chciagoland GTG. This is the monthly GTG we always do, it just so happens that I will be leaving for NJ the following weekend.

So please join if you can, it will be a good time as always. If you haven't come to a Chicago GTG before, it will be a great way to meet some great people have some great food and enjoy a great drive in a great car....Great.


I will see those who will be there on Sunday.


Side note: Doc, you wanna hit up 41 on Wednesday? I want to get to the track before I leave.

Well, I'm back in the states after a bazillion hours of travel.

I left Bombay at 2am Saturday morning Indian time. Which is about 3:30pm Friday Chicago time. I landed in Chicago about 5:30pm Saturday.

I had a 4 hour delay in Paris on the way back...stuck in the plane. Ugh.

I am extremely tired and have now made it to 11pm...and I am going to bed shortly.

I will be there at 11am for the GTG. Sporting the prototype of the Eurocharged single CAI, which will most likely become a dual CAI by the end of the week.

Thanks to everyone who will be joining tomorrow, I will be there. I look forard to seeing everyone.

well, I am obviously not there today, because I am sitting here on duty at the Hospital....bored as usual...thank goodness for that, but Matt, I could get away Wednesday if you let me know what time you want to get to US 41....and hopefully will see you at the Dragon in October...sry I couldn't make it. I had my weekends mixed up...good luck man, and have fun with group today....Doc
