After confirming with FP who originated this meet
it has been decided to meet at a Starbucks location in Schaumburg near Woodfield mall.
This is a large store with plenty of parking space available.
It is a stand alone store a few blocks south of Woodfield mall and is not inside the mall.
This store also serves lunch for those who want to eat and meet.
Also just east of this location is "Busse Woods" off rte 72 (Higgins rd.)
which is a great place to go for parking and pictures before we take a drive.
Sunday May 18th. Try to arrive no later than 11:30 am -- I will be there by 11:00 am

Last weekend I did a nice run over to the river and back. See a lot of clubs, especially cycles making the run.
Over through Kingston, up to Galena and back roads home.
There is a nice pub in Kingston with out door seating (Stadium?)
that had attracted a couple of cycle groups when we stopped.
Not pushing anything but if people want to do a run this wasn't bad.
Here is a link(DeKalb Co) to a possible country cruise route (43 miles west on Rte 72) from Starbucks
and we could save our appetites for lunch at the Varsity Pub in Kingston. (DeKalb county)
Just a suggestion recommended by Uncle Al

I'm still trying to work it in.

For any folks here who would like to join us and have a greater distance to travel to get near chi-town I offer my house as accommodations to any who would care to either make the trip to town on Saturday or stay over Sunday night before returning home or both to make it a mini weekend vacation.

ill be there for sure! cant wait! and while im down there can some of you guys convince my dad to get some performance mods for this car?! seriously i wanna get like the intake exhaust sprintbooster tvt 250. stuff like that help me convince him!!! lol. he isnt really into putting on performance stuff but i am majorly into it. help an X-fire bro out please!!! thanks

Sounds like you guys are going to have a swell time.
It also appears that we will be having a June meet here in the St Louis Metro group on the 14th.
Cathy wants to drive next time so I'm going to let her do it here in MO so I don't have to go to far to visit her in the pokey.
Therefore we have to pass on the Chicagoland meet, this time.
A suggestion for the next one. She won't refuse if you make a run down to Starved Rock Lodge near Ottowa. There are plenty of curvey roads and an excellent place to eat. 50 miles southwest of Aurora.
It's one of her favorite spots.
