To add to an earlier suggestion I made for a future meet. The Casino at Hoosier Park is now open, and I played some slots today. For those of you who are into that, it was a lot of fun.

 

I have the dealership, working on places to eat, and waiting on answer from Mayor's office regards to parking on the square Saturday night...also working w/ local motels in case there is a need.....which I hope there is....now....lets talk date in July....who's coming....let me know if you are interested...hate to secure parking and 3 people show up....Doc

 

I have a really busy weekend on July 4th, 5th, and 6th, and a wedding to attend on July 12th. If it were on the 5th or the 12th, it would heavily depend on what time of day. Because I already have those two days off of work, it will be difficult to request off any more in the month of July. If you can give me a date and time, it may be better for me to try and work my schedule around it (or show up late/leave early).

Otherwise, I'm very interested, and intend on showing up if it is at all possible.

To add to my earlier post. My commitments on the 5th are for the evening... I should otherwise be mostly available during the day. As for the wedding on the 12th, I don't know what time it is (it's my gf's friends, not people I know real well), so i don't know how late it will run. If it's on the 19th or the 26th, I work untill 5pm.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, try to avoid the 12th, and I'll either have to show up late, leave early, or get really lucky any of the other 3 weekends.

 

My 6 will be passing through Indy on Monday night. Heading to Franklin for Tues. State High School Golf match.

 

Bikecop, did you check to make sure it is still on, they have had heavy flooding in that area...many of the roads are closed, and bridges have been weakened, or closed....I could check tomorrow and let you know....where is the golf course???

 

Its on, as long as there is no more rain. They reported today that they have got the course back on par(HaHa). The course is The Legends, this is the first time in over 10 years that we have made state.

 

thats fantastic...it is suppose to rain down here Tuesday, but maybe we will luck out...if you are going to eat out somewhere Monday evening, maybe we could meet up, not wanting horn in, it would be a pleasure to finally meet someone on here....I need an excuse to go by Southside Harley anyway...

 

I wont be in the area until late. My wife is coming and she does not get off work until 8pm thats 9 your time. So, 12 o'clock until I roll into town, but thanks for the offer. Hey feel free to come have some coffee at the HJ in the morning.

 

I may have to work, you must be working being up this late...I had a 7-3 shift today, just checking email before hitting the rack...If we don't hook up, have a safe trip...hope you guys win....keep an eye on the weather, it is a disaster down in that area...even worse further south...white river flooded the whole south side of INDY...worse since 1913...couldn't believe it...but, and a big but...If I don't work, I will drop by for coffee @ HJ...

 

Meeting with dealership tomorrow to see if we have a sponsor for our meet and greet...looking at last Saturday in July...give me your thoughts...

 

Last July saturday is ok with me, as long as its not the Brickyard 400 weekend. If I dont have to work, I'll be there, I drive charter buses so funny schedule. I'll keep lurking on the net for more info, thanks again.

 

you already kinda know where I am. I have the first two Saturday's off work, but have other plans. I won't be able to ask for any more Saturday's off, but if all goes well, I should be off work by around 5 o'clock. Otherwise sounds like a fine weekend to me.

 

Pretty much any evening or weekend if you want to hook up. Since I am in Noblesville, pretty much anywhere is fair game. I may be in MN the last Sat. in July, but nothing set in stone as of yet.

 

I haven't set anything in stone, just trying to see when is a good time for everyone...I am open the last 2 Saturdays in July...August is booked for me...I want to give Kevin @ the dealership plenty of time to prepare for us if he wants to take us on, I also have another dealership to talk to...we may do a 2 dealer cruise...will keep posting...

 

MajorTom, I contract haul for Becks Hybrids, so I have been working there, security gig, and the Sheriff's Dept...I have been on a 7 days a wk tear now for 10 wks straight...hope to take next wknd off and do my installs...looking to order wheels and tires yet this wk....so next wknd if you are in the neighborhood, stop by, I should be in the garage....decade or anyone else for that matter is welcome as well...this crazy weather has been kickin' our behind...so, I have had a lot of trucking to do...

 

Stop by where? what for? I'm not sure if anyone else understood that post, but it seemed like a word salad. I'm supposed to stop by so I can go on a trucking haul with you? Or work with you in your garage to put new tires and wheels on (that you haven't ordered yet)? I'm all for hanging out with a fellow Crossfire enthusiast, just a little confused at what I'm being invited to do...
