    War was winding down as I was finishing flight school.
    However, I did serve on a gunfire support destroyer for I Corps north of Da Nang in '69 before flight training.
    Also spent some time off of Haiphong at PIRAZ riding shotgun for the station missile cruiser against NV torpedo boats.
