Description:
2006 Crossfire Limited Roadster in Graphite Metallic with Dark Slate Gray/Medium Slate Gray Leather. 2nd Owner. Purchased in October, 2009 with 1396 miles. Mileage now is just less than 7,000 (that’s right, 7,000) but will increase as I do drive it occasionally. New Michelin Pilot Sports in August, 2015 at around 4,100 miles. New battery this spring and yaw sensor just replaced. Because of the low mileage, none of the problems associated with Crossfires have occurred, i.e sticky key, and none have been addressed. One line of thinking holds that this means the car should sell for less and I can understand the argument. I don’t subscribe to it however.
Always garaged, never saw snow and seldom saw rain since I’ve had it. I had bought my wife a new Coupe, liked it, and bought this Roadster. It’s a fun car, but it comes in 3rd place to my Corvette ZR1 and Trans Am convertible, as the mileage attests. It’s time to pare down my collection so I thought I’d try BringATrailer. First they wanted no-reserve and then they wanted a reserve 30% below what I wanted. Needless to say, that was the end of BaT.
The wheels show no curb rash, the top is tight, EVERYTHING works (except I’ve never been able to reset the maintenance reminder in the odometer), the paint is virtually perfect. The only defect I can see is that it came with a small crack in the driver’s door speaker. It does not affect the sound.
I have a total of 47 photos and 2 videos should you require more than what appears here. My BaT reserve was to be $24,500; theirs was $17,500. If you offer isn’t closer to mine than theirs, please don’t waste either of our times. If it doesn’t sell, it doesn’t sell. I’m not giving it away.
My home # is 240-818-0185. This is a land line. I have no cell service at my house and I DO NOT TEXT. My email address is sbrix@erols.com.

All that said, what has happened to the roof? It is coming up where it meets the vinyl strip in the back and I'd be afraid water will enter. Probably the original top, which means it NEEDS to be replaced. Good luck on the sale, hope you get what you want, it's a beautiful car and well worth the price, the market just doesn't agree with me there.
This is definitely repairable but it should be done before water gets inside
Its a very clean car for sure !!!
Saying you usually only drive with top down, and therefore it’s ok that rain would;e most likely enter the car just won’t cut it for most buyers. I wish the Crossfire market was there but it jus is not. There are clean SRT6 roadsters with less than 10K miles selling for cheaper with a NEW roof and some serious power behind it. I’m not dissing this car at all, it’s beautiful example and I truly hope the market will eventually get there but right now you are just asking too much and will hold on to this for a loooong time. I stopped hoping that prices will climb eventually. As unique our cars are and the story behind them with all the makings of a true classic, it just was a dud. And it seems like it won’t change even with car magazines pointing out the value in the marketplace, because lets be honest….I bought a 25,000 miles SRT6 roadster with new convertible top for $15,000 and that was when used car prices were high all over. Mind you, that SRT in the color as a roadster, less than 200 were ever made.
I still hope you get what you are looking for but if you don’t, why not just drive it and enjoy it. Or come down on the price and let someone else enjoy it and put miles on it. I think that’s the best thing to do with Crossfires today….enjoy the ride and drive as much as possible.
