Definitely a scammer. He's blocked my calls now too

 

Did you use paypal and can you dispute the transaction?

 

I did but he wanted friends and family. My stupidity. His number is 1-272-772-0305 from the Scranton PA area which matches his profile.

 

It's a risk I've bought here before. Some I did friends and family and others I just paid them extra not to do friends and family.

 

OK, if "Shane" is not going to post in public and explain, I'd label this one a scam.

He scammed people and didn't ship out the parts.

IF this is indeed a scam, and IS deemed a SCAM, Admin should LOCK THE POST! It has been asked about on the 5th of October (3 plus weeks ago by PG), so.... ADMINS, what say YOU??

I was also scammed by poster #17 (Sogent01) on this post. I sent him a part, but he never paid. I should have known better. There are more and more scammers out there. From now on I will only deal with long time members.

 

Sometimes, scammers will have multiple memberships, then the scam starts using the for sale, and then the I need. Feedback will show a delivery or two (again different member names but one and the same) so it 'lures' more into higher value items. Once a feeding frenzy starts it take a few finally realizing everyone was taken. Not saying this case is one but it has happened before so it'll happen again. The KEY is never send money in an unsecure manner where you have no redress (for instance PP friends/family).
