Heya gg, the other GG here. That picture, are you 'pushing' a crossfire with an SUV with a plastic garbage can in between? Or are you just keeping the plastic garbage can trapped during bad weather. Just curious (nothing better going on here, LOL).

Hello GG, that is the SRT6 that I was buying this week to be back in the XF family. 115k miles in Graphite. Asking 4000 for it non running. That's the one that got away sadly GG. Number 250 on the register and looked to have a good history. !st proud owner had it in south Fla for 10 years so you know it was babied. Then it was at a south Ga dealership for 4 years then this guy in NW Nashville that bought it 2 or so years ago site unseen for 7500.00 It had been the car of his dreams! He was disappointed but still drove it until early this year. He came out and it would not start. Crank sensor code so he fixed it, went to autozone got a wing wong brand. Still had crank sensor code, still would not start. He gave up and it looks like he was using to to keep the trash can it check. Funny, the car looked damn good to me, but I am old. Had it planned to be there today but it seems like someone showed up around this time yesterday and out deal was off.
No big deal but I had the new crank, cam sensors and a new K40 cause I was driving that ***** the 2 hours home. Next time I will wait until I have it in the driveway before talking about it on the forums, LoL. I looked in my desk drawer today and saw the two sets of letters so I thought I would get rid of them, not sure what they are worth. I picked up that R170 SLK last year for 800 and sold it the other day to a couple so I guess I will fold my hand. Cars are nuts, cant find anything to buy and they take away from my main hustle, Bikes. Just yesterday at Mecums in PA a restored 1971 CT70 sold for 17600 + fees so 20,000 for a Honda Mini that sold for 395 new. Spent all day rubbing on my current Vice , a 1st Gen Genesis Coupe GT 3.8. Its a 2012 and a nice looking car. I was reading yesterday on this forum about the demises of the XF and the fact that the designer of the XF went to Hyundia so that might be why I like them.
I did notice that when I posted asking about the sensors I got a response that was encouraging from a member I did not remember so at least the forum is getting new folks. So I hope all is well with you GG, when you guys do the Dragon I might bust the party up with Genny, I have coil overs and whiteline links to put on the car so I might be able to keep up.. maybe. Be Well. GG in Tn

Re: Crossfire trunk letters ( 2 sets)
I do like it and realized with the SLK that I do miss BT and the things I take for granted in my 2018 F150 so in that way the Gen has that. Always like these cars and the interior is perfect. The ride on the car is the worst I have even seen so I picked up some coilovers and some well made adjustable sway bar end links so I will install them when I have time. The Phantom Grip LSD kit I picked up from Racing Diff's for the SLK will work perfectly in the Gen. The NA 3.8 at 3.6 flywheel HP , ZF19 Six speed with paddle shifters & 3.55 rear gears are perfect so far. As Arnold said . . .I'll Be Back! Be Well. I will have to check back to see who ended up with #250 SRT6 !
