Re: 2007 Limited Coupe Auto very low miles
Similar car just went on BaTs for less. Should have sold when market was high. Now these go for under 10K often times.

Used car market is crashing and it's not getting better for Crossfires.

well, on BaT, it was On reserve , so the car did not sell. So, IF i sell it, I am ok. If not, I will keep it and come back in. A year or two to sell it again.

Anyways, the point is people in this thread are calling you out because the car is listed for a certain price and apparently when interested parties reach out, you switch up the price.
THAT and what you just said yourself about selling is the reason you aren't getting much love here.
What is the actual price of this vehicle? And if it is anything different from what you posted originally why not edit your own listing?

Look, I wish you nothing but the best and would love for our cars to miraculously receive the respect and value they deserve but it just hasn't happened.
The value of this car increase for a short period of time during the COVID shortages and that is it. Now the prices are painful again.
I wish this car would turn into a classic but it just isn't happening. People misunderstood and continue to misunderstand what this vehicle is.
The magazines never got behind it, the press in general looked at it as of cheap quality because it was a Chrysler..
I hope the day will come when people will realize this is a beautifully designed vehicle, create by a builder with a fantastic beans recognition at the time and Mercedes parts under the engine. But the way it is really going is that these cars are still losing value.
So I hope you get what you want for it but keep in mind insurance, taxes and people generally being very tight with their money. That won't change anytime soon. If anything I'm afraid in 6 months you will get less for this vehicle than what you'd get today!

Then I waited for a guy in the forum for 4 months and then he got a divorce and he was not in aposition to buy it.
I worked for DaimlerChrysler back in the days and this is my 3rd xfire, had the first in 2004, then 2007 and this one since 2018. That is the reason I love the car.
Since I only use it maybe 5-10 miles per month and STILL pay for insurance and keep it in the garage, I should let it go, no matter the price I get now, looks like it will be less than I could have gotten a year ago.
I have been stubborn , looking for the "right" buyer who will take care and keep it in the same condition, that has been my issue and that is why I have not been able to sell it (my neighboor want3d for this college kid and I said NO), I am a bad seller as you can see.
thanks and take care
Re: 2007 Limited Coupe Auto very low miles
unfortunately, that is the case. My bad I did not sell it to a good guy who wanted it badly a year ago , I wanted to keep it for good and use it more frequently.

For many, this is like a best kept secret as we get to buy beautiful looking vehicles with bulletproof engineering for little money.
I could not think of another car from that area that has the characteristics and power of an SRT6 for the same price.
Good for the buyer, bad for the seller.
We have been waiting for years for the market to go up and unfortunately it has not happened. Besides the market correction after COVID - that was the highest I ever saw those cars sell on Being a Trailer and on Marketplace. Not anymore unfortunately - seems like that is over.
I feel your answer 100%. My Graphite Coupe has 100K Miles on it when I put it up for sale over a year ago when I bought a low mileage SRT6.
That car ran perfectly as I love Crossfires and worked on them all the time both mechanical maintenance wise and cosmetics. I wanted to find someone who would appreciate the car as much as I did and I got offers of $3,000. That hurt.
Eventually I found a younger guy who loves working on cars and he and his family you could tell loved the retro design of this car and I say you know what, this is the guy who should have this car. He made me a decent price and I gave it to him. Still way less than what the car "should be worth" but I felt it was in good hands with that father and his son after speaking to them for a long time and seeing how excited they were.
At some point you will have to make a decision - let the car sit and gather dust, drive it yourself regularly or give it to someone who will drive it because these cars are meant to be driven. Sitting isn't good for them and after all it's a car - it wants to be driven!
So that decision is ultimately up to you and I know it's not an easy one.
All the best of luck and hope you get what you are looking for.

Re: 2007 Limited Coupe Auto very low miles
Well Guys, finally. My car departed a few hours ago with his new owner, a guy who looked the ad on Autotrader and flew from Austin to buy it. exactly my asking price, a very interested, serious buyer who used to work for Chrysler/Dodge and Jeep.
I think it is in good hands now, I regret selling the car (I know I would) but it needs some one who uses it more frequently and I need less car insurance monthly payment.
This guy may join the Forum as I recommended , hopefully he does. Poor guy had to wait 5 hrs in midland due to weather and now he is back as we speak with his new car back home.
If someone sells a stick crossfire, cheaper than the norm, I may get my hands on another one in the future.
I will be around to keep reading you, take care !!!
