How do I bolt aftermarket seats in?
How do I bolt aftermarket seats in?
Has anyone installed aftermarket seats in a limited, with just off the shelf parts. I would like to go with a Sparco or Cobra style seat. All it has to do is slide back and forth. I know about the wiring and such. It's just the bolting the seat and tracks to the car that is holding me up. I would rather not fabricate parts or drill holes in my car.

Your best bet is going to be removing the factory sliders, and installing them on your new seats. I haven't seen this done on a crossfire yet, but I'm sure it is possible and quite simple if the factory sliders are removable.
You may have to fab a minor mount bracket, but most aftermarket seats come with a universal base or slider that should mount to stock sliders (with little or no modification).

I will look at mine tomorrow, but I'd be willing to bet you can remove them (because I doubt the dealer would want to replace a WHOLE seat if they can just replace a slider/mounting bracket if and when something fails).
