Door handles would cost $100 set. Strakes more, perhaps too costly.

Depends on your definition of faster.....

real CF is lighter (should shave .0001 sec off that 0-60 time) therefore something that LOOKS this real should feel faster....LOL

what about having everything done black, not cf, just the color black, nothing fancy?

and how is the durability compared to powdercoating?

Not a thread jack just being informative we can have ours painted for about $300 +. You can not powder coat plastic it has to be painted with 3-5 layers of clear. I have had my center painted in graphite for a little over a year now with no signs of wear at all. You have to take care of it like the outside of your car though. The last one we did was SSB and here is what a black finish should look like on plastic/fiberglass

uhh... wait are the window surround, grille, and strakes powdercoatable or not? sorry, I'm kind of confused now and if they ARE able to be powdercoated, would it be more durable the process offered here?

sorry for being such a nuisance i just want all of the light silver bits on the outside of my car turned black... not talking about the interior here, that is a separate issue. just the exterior bits and pieces

Unhijacking the thread.....since I was the one who started it.

Of course all the items you listed can be painted black (or any other color). I don't know where you are located but I would suggest getting someone reputable nearby to do it.

We offer a hydrographics coating that is extremely durable and can be done in a number of patterns including synthetic carbon fiber (in just about any color) and multiple wood grains. We do local OEM for Lexus and Cadillac just to give you an idea of the quality. Of course we can do solid colors as well.

Here are some pics of the console grille and windshield surround. Interior stack is $340 (11 pcs), grille $170, windshield surround $175 all done in CF overlay. We coat your parts.

The end product finish is very durable. Care is the same as the exterior paint.

I am truly interested in sending my dash pieces in to have this done. I just need to take it all off. Is there any secrets to removing the dash and console pieces? I don't want to tear anything up in the removal process. Thanks in advance for your help.

You can get a set of removal tools from Harbor Freight for around $5 and get keys for the radio.

Hey SRTSIX,

Is this the same place that does the Hydrographis Overlay that you posted about in another post? I googled that and couldn't find anything at all.
