Look at my after and before...CF from woodgrain? This is an aftermarket AMG shift ****. It is possible to do just the original **** just as easy. I am going to try to post additional coating colors (other than black or silver CF) as soon as I can. Unfortunately, I am in the middle of travel season and don't have all the time I would like. As part of a larger order the cost for the **** would be only $30. $50 is the minimum.

Don't mean to rush you.

My biggest concern is whether or not the Karmann badge is trademarked or copywritten from a legal standpoint. The plaques and badges I have done are unique and as a result I am not concerned about them. However, making a duplicate of a company's logo (especially an exclusive company like Karmann) might not work. Maybe we can come up with something unique for that as well.

I've been reading up on Karmann logo history. That's not their official logo, anymore than the SRT-6 badges is DCX. These were specific to a car they build, but can't remember the company they built it for. Karmann's official logo is this one.
What do you think?
Re: Molded Carbon Fiber dash and body pieces
Both of those logos were for the Karmann Ghia (obviously) but the black one w/out the red Ghia shield was used on the Porsche 356. I got those (they're readily available on ebay) but they can't be easily mounted on your car w/out drilling holes because of some pins on the back. They're a beautiful enamel badge but any attempt to cut off the pins on the back generally result in ruining the badge. The enamel cracks very easily.
Re: Molded Carbon Fiber dash and body pieces
SRT, I need a picture of the silver carbon ASAP bro. I will definitely buy if its as good looking as the Startech carbon interior which is basically the stock color but carbon. Please dude, LOL.
Or maybe even the same silver that is on the door pulls, instead of the stock silver.
Finally how about piano black. Like a steinway piano? That would be f'ing sick.

The silver carbon fiber mentioned earlier is not carbon fiber at all, but aluminized fiberglass. Absolutely no carbon fiber involved at all there(again, with the actual material that this process is emulating).
Re: Molded Carbon Fiber dash and body pieces
Let me be very clear about all of this, this process is synthetic. I posted earlier that this is the most elaborate method of finishing YOUR components. The finish is very hard and durable. Care is the same as you would the paint on your car. I have been trying to get good samples to show everyone. However, all monitors show colors a little differently. About the only two that show very close are the black and silver CF finishes. Here are black and silver (there is an additional piece for the automatic).
