Re: Post Something Random (No politics)
NOPE !!!
Ya this was back in March (seen here) when they chewed the wire to the Solar fan off which killed the fan.
Then chewed the plastic mesh by the fan and began dropping mulch and pine needles etc into my attic to begin to try and prepare a nest.
I stopped that fortunately before the finished the job ...LOL
Something Random for sure ...........

I just HATE all these new tech things to make something easy (supposedly easier). When the tech fails, it takes a huge effort to replace/reprogram/troubleshoot/finding the manuals/and finally gobs of monies to fix. Just give me a key and a lock on a door, if the included garage opener on the vehicle doesn't work for ANY reason. Simple, very simply, use the key. Power failures, no problem... Lightning storms burning out receivers or high RFI locations (including a surge through the electrical grid sometimes called a momentary that wrecks havoc on components in electrical/electronics components), ad nauseam. KISS, someting engineers have no comprehension of because (it) to them it is an oxymoron. When has anyone of late crawled into an engine compartment to fix something? Usually, it is buried deep behind all the crapola throughout the engine bay....
There, I got that off my chest... Thanks all! LOL

But fact is, the Crossfire (for example) can be a MESS to troubleshoot at times.
I do not miss messing with choke pull-offs, sticky carb floats, etc.
Currently, the truck failed emissions tests - code reader says the downstream O2 sensor is WAY out of bounds, it's showing that it is internally shorted, I spray penetrating oil on it every three days, next week I'll go get a sensor and change it. I hope that does it. (The truck will be 20 years old this fall.)

Didn't see the solar panel for the fan? Did you rewire and relocate it, or just remove it? Crazy how these varmints can get into a house. We've heard something running across the front soffit along the northwest roof section BUT could not find whatever it was or where it entered the roof. After a week we didn't hear it any more and still no point of entry (or exit) found. Oh well, the odor never entered the house...

Got a new higher efficiency Electric Attic Vent Fan and protective screen on my roof now

I've been watching events recorded on my new security camera and this was captured with "HD motion detection" in just 1 second and the still images captured from the 1 second video are pretty clear considering the speed that this bird was passing the camera.

Seems using a PC requires a subscription? I am guessing this is a no go for many (do not even know if a cellphone is also needed for the PC subscription use). Great picture/capture though. I have a Lorex 4K 8 cam analog system (wired) but the promise of the night view in color, forget it (only infrared night view). With quite a few outside spotlights on, no color. Good luck with your setup!

You can watch video detected or see still images from the SD card on a smartphone using the Wyze App
The Wyze app on your phone or Ipad is the control center for the Wyze cameras features and functions and a subscription is not needed
The advantage to a subscription is that the footage is stored in the Wyze cloud so if your cameras are stolen with the SD cards inside you still have the footage stored in the cloud and it isn't gone
This is a night shot outside in color
Re: Post Something Random (No politics)
I have an SD card in the camera and it can hold about 10 days of footage before it starts overwriting

I like that color image for sure, what time was that capture taken? About your cloud reference, it would be funny if someone did 'steal' it, then put it up on their house, and find their neighborhood located to recover said stolen camera with prosecution against the perp...
