I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge the death of Sir Stirling Moss at the age of 90. A legend in his own lifetime in England and Europe.
He raced when racing was extremely dangerous, and I would hazard a guess that most of those he raced against died while racing.

65 yrs young now, I suspect quite a few will NOT miss me (as I am one who doesn't pimp) as much as those who define 'celebrety' or 'Hero' in their accolades, either self projected or impressed upon them. Not in a hurry to meet my maker but then again, no one should be!

I saw him perform 9 years ago for the National 4th of July celebration on the Capitol grounds. I guess he couldn't walk on stage at that time....they just pushed a piano and him sitting on the piano bench out onto the stage and he just started playing! He put on a big show.....
