Add this one: If you're heading down US 190 and pickup trucks suddenly spurt off the gravel and cut you off on the road, making you have to set down your motorcycle twice, you're definitely in Texas. Fortunately I was much younger then and had ample protection.

Growing up in what I like to call a Gypsie family... moving all over this great country, I've come to see each state has something great about them.

However when I was 17 I left my parents and said "Catch yall later, I'm going to Texas."

Been here for 23 years now and still love it!!! For me - Other states are great places to vacation, Texas is a great place to live.....
