Default Superbowl XLIII

Ok, so it needed to be done sooner or later. So let's see, what are everyone's opinions on the Superbowl? Who will win? Which player is the biggest asset for their team? Is anyone actually wagering on this game, professionally or otherwise?

As much as it pains me to say it, I've got $20 on the Steelers. Simply because they are a can't-kill-'em team that plays all four quarters.

I only saw Arizona play three, a couple of weeks ago... Philadelphia PWNED them in the 3rd quarter. If Fitzgerald gets hit like the one guy from the Ravens, he'll be K.I.A.

Having said that, I like the Cardinals, and it would be neat to see them finally garb a ring after so many years.

I'll enjoy the game, regardless of the outcome.

I placed two Superbowl futures bets back in September. $10 on the Ravens (the team I root for) at 40:1 and $50 on the Steelers at 9:1, as a "hedge" to soften the blow if my wife's team wins. So, it looks like a win-win for me!

I'll be pulling for the Cardinals. I'm hoping they can surprise the naysayers.
