My son was in an independent movie called Rush Junkys where he shared the lead role as the bad boy "Jake" (Jacob Goldfarb). It is a film that was on the independent channel on cable. You may or may not have seen this. At least he got to drive a '78 456 whp Porsche 911 Turbo and a '68 Camaro with 1291 whp. The movie was made in the Catskill Mtns in NY and also in a town in NJ. It was his dream to act in a car movie and when he auditioned, they asked him if he could drive a stick, and boy did he ever, especially in their Porsche 911 Turbo which helped him nail the part. Congratulations to you and your son !! Very cool ! haven't seen the movie, but I'll be sure to try and find it. I'm sure sick of all the special effects movies now-a-days.

Thanks guys...And while the movie was underway, he'd call me up teasing me what he was driving at that moment. I wish I didn't live so far away at the time and maybe would have spent some time on location watching a movie in the making. Even if he doesn't do another movie, at least he had the opportunity to see what life was like during filming something like this. Something I doubt I will ever get the chance to see or do.

 

Cool stuff man, I bet he is proud as hell of his accomplishments. I am sure it does wonders with the ladies too where he was in a movie.
