Oh wait, you'll probably be in more than one of them! I guess you'll have to buy one for your office, one for home, and one for the garage!
Re: 2008 Crossfire Calendar?
Sorry everyone, but there's going ot be a bit of a delay getting the calendars finished: a day or two.
I keep trying to put together a worthy cover, and I'm just not happy with my own efforts. So, I've sent some images off to a graphics artist friend of mine and he's going to put together a couple covers for us. They should look quite spiffy when he's done with them. But it will take him some time - a day or two.
Hang in there!!

Tom
After your great initiation and whole lots of effort, we'll certainly wait.
*Still wishful thinking: Hope I can order and have it while at my hometown. One for my local office;another will go along with me wherever I travel.
That will be ... before next week. Iishh to impatience and greed.
All the best and thank you.

Re: 2008 Crossfire Calendar?
OK, the calendars are available!
I had the day off, so I spent it making the calendars.
To purchase a calendar goto:
www.cafepress.com/xfirecalendar
There are four calendars available:
The Member's Choice Calendar is made up of the winning photos from the ratings in the gallery.
The other calendars are made up of images that I chose, primarily because of image layout and resolution. I tried not to use the same image twice, and to give a good variety. There weren't too many images that could be used for the large format calendars. So I did the best I could. I hope you enjoy them.

Guess I will be missing January. Oh well... Nope, no one is at fault.
Looking on the bright side, I still have May and September.

Re: 2008 Crossfire Calendar?
My calendars have arrived !! They are high quality and arrived quickly.
I especially like the cover on the vertical calendar because it has a great shot of "fflores" Crossfire with the Sears Tower in Chicago in the background.
I grew up and still live 40 miles west of Chicago and the tallest building in the USA.

Member "Voyager" now owns your SRT6. He lives in Batavia only a couple of miles from my house.
Your old car looks awesome on the calendars and I have both of them.
I don't know who submitted the pics for the vote but they look great and if you don't have the calendars get them ! Later Gary

Re: 2008 Crossfire Calendar?
I think your car got the most coverage of all of the Crossfires in the calendars. It wasn't intentional, but just worked out that way. The photos you sent in were some of the highest resolution and required the least amount of photoshop to put in the calendars. Of course, the small calendar was vote-dependent. But the oversized and vertical calendars required such hi-res photos, I was really limited on what I could include. The vertical one was the most difficult, since the aspect ratio of the pictures was near 1:1, where most of the photos submitted were 4:3. So only ones that had lots of real estate to be cropped around the car could be used.
Well, none-the-less, I think the calendars came out rather well, especially for such a rush job. Next year we will get started much earlier!

Re: 2008 Crossfire Calendar?
As of today, here's a list of the sales of the calendars:
Member's Choice Calendar: 24
Oversized Calendar: 13
Vertical Wall Calendar: 9
Collage Calendar: 16
Test Calendar: 1
License Plate Frame: 3
Frig Magnets: 4
Tail of the Dragon Poster: 2
Bib: 1
For a total of 73 items sold through 30 orders. So on average people bought 2.4 items at once.
Not too shabby. I think next year it will do better, since we won't lose a month off of the calendar. And I think we should sell them through the CrossfireForum.org CafePress store, and have a slight up-charge to help pay for this great site - perhaps $1 an item or something like that.
