Headlight cover "foggy"

Re: Headlight cover "foggy"
Just as you said....O'Reilly's has the 3M cleaner. I bought a bottle. And, interestingly enough, I had to ask for it as it wasn't a shelf item on display. It was in the back where the public isn't allowed.
Thanks for your help. I ought to have the headlight cover problem resolved.

Re: Headlight cover "foggy"
If you need a detail spray, the 3M product (Perfect-It Gloss Enhancer #39034) is the best I've used yet - have been through Mother's, Meguiar's, Griot's, and several others - I buy the stuff 2 and 3 bottles at a time now as my teenage daughter details cars to supplement her income and uses it like crazy, too! It's probably "in the back" at O'Reilly's... I'm still not clear on the "mystery" around the way these products are distributed... They seem to treat it like it's an illegal drug!

Re: Headlight cover "foggy"
I've had a similar problem and was told by a friend to buy some 3m plastic cleaner that i found at autozone. It worked at first though a few weeks later the problem returned. I was getting my oil changed yesterday and asked about this problem and the dealership told me it would be covered under warranty and they would most likely sand and buff the headlight covers...
Re: Headlight cover "foggy"
I have a 2005 SRT, 5k miles. Both lights are fogged. It appears to be on the inside. I have sanded and polished the outside, improved significantly, but the lenses are still not clear. I live in Lancaster PA, local dealer refused to do anything eventhough the basic warranty still in effect. Any suggestions?

I had the foggy hazy headlights. They felt rough and crackled. I found the 3M Headlight restoration kit and the look like new. This was for the outside though, not inside.
Not bad for $20 kit and 2 hours of time. Pickup up kit at Autozone but saw it at Walmart too.

Here's some before and after photos. The overcast day put a grainy look to the after shots but they're shiny and way better than before!
