Re: Cap on windshield wiper screw
A wise Forum member (FP) told me a little trick "way back" that keeps these caps in place. Otherwise, they will come off randomly without warning whenever wipers are used.
Get a roll of smooth electrical tape. Cut a piece off that is no more than 1/2" long. Cut a piece that is no wider than the recessed flange section of the cap. Place that piece along the recessed flange section that inserts into the wiper arm (doesn't have to go all the way around the cap). This will create enough of a "press fit" to keep the wiper arm cap secured. I've used this technique on my Crossfire and the caps have never come loose.

Guys
Here is an exact fit for the windshield wiper arm caps for all Crossfire models. I visited a local Volkswagen dealer and picked one up for $3.67 (PA Tax included) and returned home to test the fitment. I removed the stock cap, which is identical to the VW cap I purchased. It works and is cheaper than any other supplier. Attached is a photo of the part and the VW part number.
GO FOR IT.....

Zeracer
When I went to the dealer, I had the part number, I didn't mention a VW Model. The parts guy told me it fit the Jetta, Bug & Passat, sounds like a universal fit for their car line, cheaper manufacturing...
Just print the label and go to a VW dealer or midnight auto parts.
