I used the Sylvania kit mentioned in this thread today. Headlights look showroom clean. Took me one hour to do both. Final step is a UV coating. Great product.

I use Mothers NuLens. I'm happy with the results.

I ended up using a Dupli-Color Head Light Restoration Kit (Part # HLR100) that consists of a polish and clear-coat, which worked extremely well. I am blown away by the results, the headlights truly look brand new. The Dupli-Color clear-coat didn't look, feel or smell like a paint type clear-coat, it has the consistency of slightly thicker water but it worked far beyond expectations.

I spent much of a weekend doing the whole process, removed the fascia and took the headlights off the car then wet sanded off the OEM clear-coat using 600 then wet sanded using 1000-1500-2000 grit sand papers then a wet 3000 grit sanding pad. I bought all the papers and sanding pad at an Auto Value store that had a comprehensive body work section.

After all the sanding I used the Dupli-Color polish and clear-coat (3X) and the headlights truly look brand new and crystal clear.

Inside lamp is little dust and glass is not perfect but was restorated few years ago.
Only solution is buy new oryginal lamp ($500-600)? Nothing cheaper in China?

No, there are no Chinese rip-off copies, the demand is too low to justify the initial tooling required.

You can remove the units and clean the inside with 100% pure denatured alcohol as in the thread by maxcichon.

Do NOT attempt to disassemble it.
Simply remove the unit, pour the methanol in thru the brow light hole and swish it around while holding the unit with the lens down. When done, dump the methanol out and let it sit to thoroughly dry.
While the unit is out, you can go through the exterior lens polishing while holding it in your lap.
