Default Spider LEDS for the tail lights

These are from superbrightleds.com. I did the clear white on the brakes and amber on turn signals. I haven't done reverse yet. These are working great, although for the moment they flash faster. I returned the carid.com Oracle spider LEDs they broke/burned on the first day.

The picture here is from cruisingredients brightness not pressing on the brakes.

Those LEDs don't take advantage of the housing shape unfortunately, and don't provide as much light as you'd think they would. Try them out during the day time, and have someone press the brakes for you. Have one side LED and one side stock. Then, for giggles, try one of the LEDs I've tested in our housings in my guide to see how bright those suckers really are lol.

I like the larger light coverage. It looks modified and cosmetically unique to anyone behind me on the road. When I make a modification I don't want them to be unnoticeable.

That's the thing though, spider style bulbs don't use the reflector housing as well as the stock bulbs or the bulbs I've tested over the years to achieve a higher light output. If someone rear ends you and says they couldn't see the brakes that would suck. I always strive to improve brightness in my mods, not take it away for some looks. No offense meant by my post, just letting you know there's better units out there for better reflector use and brightness compared to stock.

No worries these are bright. One thing is for sure the turn signal bulbs were so old they began to peel of and pieces of orange bulb were making a mess. I did the interior trunk and license plates in white led.
