I just wanna see what it looks like innitially. Still not fully convinced I'd keep it on myself lol. I think it might match with the wheels and possibly plasti dipped side mirrors?

I'm thinking so too, but even after photoshopping it a few times, I'm not sure without seeing it in person. Body color was an... interesting look too.

Hot damn that actually does look pretty nice. Only thing that would make it even better would be LED tail lights, and wouldn't you know it I have LEDs in my tail lights :P

I will try to stop by a kinkos tomorrow and get one printed out. I'm assuming you want it printed just on paper right? They don't print vinyl there I don't think?

Dupli-Color, I found, has something very similar...

Dupli-Color :: Custom Wrap Removable Coating

As a somewhat random aside... I'm thinking about giving my new wheels (if I ever get them) the PlastiDip treatment, but just behind the spokes, so I don't feel obligated to pull them off and clean the back/inside as often lol.

Man... everyone has one now. I've got a can of the ArmorAll knockoff in my garage.

I still think the plasti dip works better when done right. My wheels are literally brand new in terms of looks because of it. My car had some curb rash on the wheels since I got it back when it had 31k miles on it. I've never put any additional curb rash on it, but the plasti dip covered that right up and you can't even tell. Looks sooooooo pretty lol

Ohh we ain't putting plasti dip on the tail lights at all. We are gonna get a template cut out at kinkos or someplace and then have vinyl cut out in it's shape. That's the idea at least, hahah

I would try it, but I have some Rimblades that will probably take it off...

I'm still not sold on PlastiDip when you're trying to do something like stripes, edges.... From what I've seen it always looks better when you're doing a whole piece, or there's a hard edge on the piece you can take advantage of.

I can personally vouch for the plasti dip working for edges because I had the inner trenches of each spoke dipped black before I went to the current anthracite gray full dip.
You just have to do it quickly, with only 4 minutes between coats if that, and then quickly peel the tape with a very fast motion.

Hm.. Interesting. I can see that I suppose. Anyways, it's not like there's any harm if you screw it up

I left it to dry too long the first couple of times, then got the hang of it. Now after doing it so many times on the wheels I can do it well. Next up is my dad's wheels, because he said he had some scratches on them and wants them sanded down and then plasti dipped as well. My mom's car might get the treatment as well just as a protective layer and whatnot.
