Phil. when is $$$$$ needed and when will the build be completed if no difficulties?

 

Not sure about this yet but if all goes according to plan deposits 1/3 will be sent of by each individual to ViS let us say in january after we have seen a prototype and we have checked everything for clearance. Then the ETC will be after 6 weeks. So if we get 20ppl this week it will start the process. So far 5 that are fully committed to this and the design. I would think that you will have had to pay the full amount and receive the hood during Q1 2014.

Quick question, should I be worried because I have an N/A?

 

I have no clue regarding clearances for the NA contra the SRT-6 with DCAI. If I were you I would try to get hold of a NA with DCAI located close to ViS that we could send over. Otherwise take photos of a na with dcai and compare it to a srt-6 with dcai. So ig you do not do this, yes I would be worried. You will be taking a risk as we are going from a srt-6 with dcai.

I'm new to the forum and a new Crossfire owner. What is an NA? I like the hood but I have a 05 base Roadster. I assume the SRT-6 racing hood would not fit my car. Correct? It looks awesome and I would love to have one.....

 

NA means Normally Aspirated ( NOT a SRT6 ).
Depending upon the air intake mods performed ( if any ), the hood should fit OK, they are the same hood from the factory for both NA & SRT6.

Hi, oh so you have checked the clearance?
NA dcai and SRT-6 dcai engine bay has the same clearance?
If you do know this, please confirm. Otherwise I feel it is not that good to lead the newbie into a groupbuy where the hood is not suitable for his car. Read first post.
