Sounds to me like there might be a program variable in the ECU that lets the system bypass error check on the headlights.. From what I've read with the DBRIII there's all sorts of things they can tweak..

I'd say just buy the digital "error free" and call it a day.. LOL

 

Yu say the DBRIII does lots of programming ? ......similar to the star module at the dealer or?

 

My understanding (mind you no "hands on") they are the same thing..

 

Hmmm may need to get 1 of those if they are that good at drilling down into the programming of the control modules.

 

Yep.. they drill about 3 grand deep into you pocket.. LOL.
Would be nice if there was a means for "share the cost..share the tool" here on the forum.. but Crossfireracer is a good example of wouldn't work..
