Can you make them as a strip of vinyl with the letters cut out? Wouldn't that work better, and make "CROSSFIRE" light up? I guess I'm confused.

Agree if it was a vinyl strip the same size of the light with the "custom letters cut out so the only light escaping would spell out C R O S S F I R E that would be better and more pronounced......or in my case the letters U N L I M I T E D.
Thanks
Robert

That was the original idea, if it's being modeled after my permanent version.

The only way the individual letters would work is if you applied them, painted the lens black, then removed them. Much easier to apply one black sticker with the letters missing, and let the light shine through.

I would not consider covering any of the stoplights, it is one of the defenses that keep people from ramming into me from behind. I need all the brightness I can get, it's cheap insurance.
Likewise tinting, it may look cool to some but seeing that tinted set of lights laying smashed in the road after a rear ender may change your mind about doing it again.

Debadging and then adding CROSSFIRE or adding another CROSSFIRE sign on the rear. Hmm.

I'd call it ricer anyway, but it's your car .......

And that's why you shouldn't buy one, and not worry about what the rest of us are doing.

You need to study the definition of "ricer" again.

Cheers,

Cheers,
Ricer: from the Latin word Ricarius meaning to suck at everything you attempt.

Seems fine to me, covers a lot of people.

The red of stop lights is a worldwide standard basically and any cop could give you a ticket for tinted lights that showed a different shade off red.

Let's be honest, the 3rd brake light is pretty diminutive to begin with. On the roadsters, it has likely lost a few LEDs (theirs suffered premature deaths for some reason, and are forever back-ordered). My main tail lamps are plenty bright and provide ample notice of my intent to brake. In other words, if the driver behind you hasn't applied the brakes by the time he can't see your tails, you're screwed anyways. That little 1" strip of LEDs won't prevent your Crossie from being totaled.

As for the police state, I've had several cops behind me since the "mod" and not a blip of the lights. We're good

I'm just glad to know that thing is easy to take out, I have dust and a dead bug I'd like to clean out of there

They don't stop them around here for black tinted tailights, dark tinted headlights, green/blue turnsignals, very dark windows so I'm not cencered with a few letters on the 3rd brake light.

That looks cool Max........just like I like 'em everyone has his or her own style keep up all the mods.....nothing worse than everyone held to the exact same plain wrappers and no personality.

~ thanks for your patience with this one... i will have a final product next week for the roadster & coupe (different lengths)...
many adjustments to assure a quality product.

another challenge is shipping ... bc the decal will need to be rolled into a tube of some sort since they are so long and i don't want any bends in the product.

Hi Andrew, Whenever you are ready I would like to get the partial new revised decals in addition to the coupe third brake light decal. Thanks for putting all of this together for us.

the decals are finally ready to ship... the cost shipped is $16.

i was hoping to keep them around $10 but they need to be rolled to ship correctly and place in a decent size box versus a padded envelope.

the coupe decal is 16" long ... and the roadster is 28" long.

the only color at this time is black. many wanted the decal to be unapparent until the brakes are applied.

please feel free to send me a pm for ordering info.

cheers,
andrew

without brakes on...
