Go for it, it is an inexpensive way to make the car look 5-7 years newer IMHO.

I think so too, and reducing load is just a bonus!

You got it, I will leave mine on for hours when parked at night and there is never an issue because of the tiny draw.

MrMiata, I would be very careful with the Chinese bulbs, if you intend to have the car a while, you will spend more replacing them than you could if you ponied up for the warrantied, legitimate units.

Took me about 6 pairs to make the swap.

Yeah I hear ya.. that's why it's only a pair.. and a "we shall see"... figured for 9 bucks I'd give it a shot and go from there..

But hey it does come with a 12 month warranty.. only $18.95 to ship back for verification!

Mrmiata, be careful with the lights you ordered in a tail/brake light application. They look to be ~25 SMD, which may not produce enough lumens for brakes. Also, I'm sure you made sure they're dual-intensity? Keep us posted.

Actually these are amber.. I'm just testing the waters with them in a turn signal application..so needles to say not dual intensity..
Worst case I wire them to an old battery and have a "night light" for my horses.. LOL.

Nice! Mind to provide a link? I'm wanting to replace the signals as well.

Unless you just want to toss 10 bucks in the test fit hat.. let me get these in and see what I've got for sure.. I'm even starting to wonder about the pins on the side orientation and all.. but God did give us files for those little fixes.. LOL. Noticed they do have the white available.. and those will be next for backup lights if I'm good with the light output on these.. If it's a "go" I'll post up some pics.. one side LED..one stock type thing to help others decide..

Just not a fan of light out indicator or modifying the wiring system to compensate... even though I would imagine the canbus - resistor feature kinda defeats "leave them on for hours" thoughts.. which is still good for me..

Look closely enough and you'll also see the tabs of each (that lock into the base) are slightly different but they have enough 'wiggle' to them to slip em in.
H7 bulbs dont look anything like these bulbs, But these are used in the foglights. The h7 has two pins which the connector slides on.

Ummm, JS, I think you need to re-read from the post I replied too, and then my post. I think you misunderstood me, I tried to clarify better.

I ordered these a few months ago and finally put them on the new roadster. Easy install.
