Replacement grill for the 1 I lost
Re: Replacement grill for the 1 I lost
Alaxfire the long and short of it is I was going to the CAA #3 in Reno anyway so decided rather than having Frank ship me the CF hood I would drive out and get it. I removed my stock hood for the drive out and it seems that some of the down force from the hood keeps the plastic grill in place because as I found out the grill will launch itself quite well at 85 mph or so after a slight bump in the road. My wife thought it was all just an excuse to get a new billet grill. So if you want to justify a new grill....... drive 1,305 miles and run around 80-85 mph the whole way with the hood off and you will qualify for a new grill I assume (from experience). Actually I was quite happy with the stock 1 but kinda like this 1 as well.

I am so glad you like the cd and am so looking forward to the next GTG. The Reno CAA was not a huge rally but the people that did show were all anyone could ask for in a delightful group. I guess Joe should be getting a kick back from the vendor.........his looked so good it really made his car special. And I hope you don't mind us copy cats.......you know they say copying is the sincerest form of flattery Joe.

Hmmm maybe you should tell him we on the forum don't care for bilkers or the like. I recieved whatr was promised and am happy with the product......sorry you we're not provided with courtous and professional service Old Man.....maybe we should let him know we don't appreciate those types of vendors and see if he will make right on your claim. I am sure if I had known he had not made things right with you before hand we could have used the leverage of more sales......still can I guess. Joe is his best sales rep.....
