Default Led

I'm trying to add LED Running lights and what them to come on with the parking lights are on. Does anyone have a picture of where the wires are for the parking lights? I look and all I see is one set of wires that are plugged in on each side. Just want to see a picture to be sure.

Thanks!!

I hooked mine up to the side marker lights. Made a cut in insulation wrapped and soldered in. Works good. You may want to consider a molex connector so you can plug/unplug lights for repair or maint. I put leds on top of light housing instead of bottom. Besure to test lights before mounting to make sure you have them turned in the correct direction for best light.

Can you get me a picture to show me what you're talking about as far as insulation wrapped? And what do you mean by side marker lights? Do they come on for you parking lights and headlights?

Thanks for the post!!!

The side marker lights are the "Parking lights" usually Amber color on the side of the front fender. I will see if I can get you a pic today. You pull the wiring out the Marker light hole in the fender, skin the insulation on both wires, remove insulation from the end of each wire coming from your new led lights, wrap the wire around the skinned wire ( watch which one is + and which is -), do the same for the other wire. Solder the connections , use a 25watt iron, so it is not too hot.Don't let the wires touch each other or the metal parts of the body of the car. After you check to make sure the lights work correctly, then wrap the solder joint with a very high quality electrical tape Snap the lights back in their position, your ready to drive. you will also want to make sure to route the wires such that they will not get frayed or cut, you may need to make them shorter as they probably are much too long.
Hope this helps you, you may want to look around for a Forum member that is close to you , he would be more than happy to help and advise I'm sure.
