Yeah! I used the second method on my dually. I installed LED signal/clearance lights at the back of each front fender. Just connect the + lead to the park light crct and the neg. side to the signal crct. When both leads are energized the marker/signal light goes out.

Nearly every GM car I have owned have been hooked up the second way from OEM. James
