Default Need info on painting OEM wheels

I've heard it mentioned on these boards before but I was wondering if anyone has experience with painting or having their stock wheels painted. I was thinking about instead of buying new wheels to just have my stock wheels painted.

Can anyone tell me if this is a good or bad idea? Does anyone happen to have pictures of a xf with painted wheels?

There's a guy in Orlando who painted my sons SRT4 wheels for only $25 a piece, and he did a great job. It's been a year and they are holding up quite well. I wasn't a believer at first on the price, but seeing is believing. That's where I will go if and when I get mine done. Good luck.

Thanks for the info. Do you happen to have a picture of what the finished wheel looks like? Also was it like a auto paint shop or what kind of shop should I look for?

A little research and I found a place that will powder coat wheels for 60-80 bucks each. They told me ill have to bring the wheels in with out the tires, so id have to find a shop help me out with that too.
