Default installed hid fogs, driver side won't turn on, hardware is fine

35w kit, passenger side works fine, driver side wont turn on. Tried swapping hardware, same results.

Led bulb and regular halogen bulb work fine on driver side. Tried swapping the stock harness for a new one and same results.

I'm out of ideas, andyone have any before I button everything up?

Sounds like you blew a fuse. I don't recall which one, but it's located in the fuse holder on the driver's side console.

Did you try switching the polarity of wires feeding the ballast?

Yes, I had the same trouble.
I hooked up the color coded wires as per the instructions, and it did not work on one side. I switched the wires on that side and it worked.

My didn't blow up when it happened to me. I believe the only thing that's going to happen is the bulb will light up.

lol it wont blow anything up. this is a common fix, dont worry.. even if there was a problem the fuse would take the hit.
