Thumbs down Loose Projectors

Ok, I installed 10,000K HIDS in my Crossfire about a week ago. I checked on them today, and the little metal...aluminum...thing that holds the H7 Bulb into place is loose. I can jiggle the whole bulb around in both Driving Light and Passenger Light, I need some help here.

Do you mean the clip or the socket/seat?

It would be the clip, The metal thing behind the socket, that holds the bulb into place. Is there anyway I can tighten it?

Are both of the legs in their little slots?

If they are-yes, you can re-bend them to provide more force to hold the bulb seated. They are very stiff-I would remove them completely and re-install after I bent them. Don't drop it into the housing-you'll end up buying replacements from me!

I take it the clips are in the correct way around, not back wards?

No, just do it at once and then say sorry if its wrong, don't waste time chewing it over.... act now.

Variation of 'shoot and ask questions later'.

As a result of this I'm always putting my foot in it. Read some of my posts.

PS
I never tried to put the clip in backwards, but I think it could be. What's your thoughts Max?

As a matter of fact-yes. Calling a turd a turd is not viewed upon favorably by the admin here.

I'm going to write a little story (completely unrelated) in the General section. It's about dishonesty and unfair practices in higher education procurement.

If you have any insight, let me know after you read it?
