Haha, funny that all of you defend the angel eyes and tell this dude off just for disliking them. Okay, I find it a bit unnecessary to just tjrow himself out there. But what I found funny is that how I am about to transform my baby seem to be a whole other case regarding forum members defending what the owners want to do with their cars. just my $0.02 (There are some users that are exceptions)

I used to do halo installations and painting headlamps, fogs, and tailight housings, but havent touched the crossfire. I baked all my headlights and sealed them up with the best sillicone possible. Never had issues. If I come across a really nice set of headlamps I'll attempt to paint the housings the color of my exterior and do the DDE's. Just make sure u dont use the chinese knockoff ballasts or ur DDE's will not last.

John, have you been to any car shows lately? I am seeing a new wave of enthusiasts who are experimenting with LEDs and SMD LEDs to reallly class up a car's OEM lighting. I am not talking about putting in light up windshield washer nozzels, but replacing OEM incandescent bulbs with LEDs (like many of the extremely high end cars have) is a pretty popular thing to do in this community, but it is mostly the younger guys doing it, and many of them forget to keep it classy.

Exactly. I want someone to see the car and think, damn that looks good, and then when I pull away to realize from the sound and the tire tracks that she will move as well

Tons of them. I think a key part of my comment was; " ...but the "lights only" modders have already created the reputation which makes others view them otherwise."

Lighting has always been an option for mods on a car. I think I was more pointing towards the idea there are some who do it right and some who don't - there are some who enhance the vehicle, and some which don't. I think people should be mindful that just because you can, or because you like it on another car, doesn't mean you should or it's the right thing to do for your car.

Sorry Ghost, I scooped those up from him a few months ago to do my Halos with. I think I saw a set on eBay not too long ago, though.

No-Dominion,
Judging by your picture you now have angel eyes. What did you eventually decide to do? You custom make yours or did you buy the oracle angle eyes? suggestions? Installation tips? My last car had angle eyes on it and I'm addicted to the look.

Wow! I'm coming late to the mix but happen to find $.02 to add. I bought my Crossfire because I'd always admired their look, style. I'm never, at my age, and retired, going to be at the track or on the street swapping pink slips.... BUT, if somebody wants to add "whatever" to their car, they should. Remember it's "their car" and it's "your opinion". So now, I want to add the "halos" to my car, when I can get someone to do them. Just sayin.....

Here is a pic of the set I just finished and sold. These are LED, not like the older CCFL.
