That why I mentioned, if the color of the gills is not black as that part will already be black. As rfors777 noticed that it would look more functional if they were independent. It isn't noticeable looking from the side but it is looking from the back. So the only thing to do is paint that area black to show separation. Anyway, if it isn't done prior to shipping anyone can take an artist paint brush and do it on their own. Thanks for doing this project for us.

This is just a reminder for anyone that has not sent payment yet, if you would like to be included in the first batch I need your payments by tomorrow!

PM me with your zipcode and paypal email to place an order.(If you are not already on the list please also include the color you need.)

Thanks!

Good job so far! I'm going to have to wait then, because
i'd like to see it totally done, painted out, and fitted. Quality paint & paint match is very important. Will it be clear coated? Sorry if I'm being picky.

No i completely understand.. and I agree, paint makes a huge difference. That is why I am having it done by a professional and not doing it myself.

It will be primered, base coated and cleared using all top quality products. It will have the same finish as your car, I guarantee it!

I'm going to have to say the same thing. I wish I could, but I want to see the painted and installed product.

Ditto...... If the first run is a success (which I am sure it will be), looks like you should have a lot of interest for a second run. Thanks for you hard work and patience.

Since I do not have enough preorders to start production I am going to take a trip to orlando tomorrow to get one painted for you guys.. I will post pics up asap!

I really need to put a deadline on taking orders for this first batch in order to complete them on time. So the new deadline will be Wednesday October 6th. You MUST be paid in full by that date to be included in the first batch!!!

EDIT: NEW DEADLINE IS SUNDAY OCT. 10TH

If you want to do custom paint thats going to have to be on you. As it is right now I am not even charging for paint since my guy is giving me such a good deal. I decided to eat the cost in order to keep the price down in hopes of selling a few more..

That is an excellent job. Has the other side received development as well?

Since I was not able to get an updated picture until noon today I am going to push the deadline back to place orders to sunday night (October 10th).

I need at least 10 orders to start production of the first batch. Orders placed by that date will be included in the first batch. If minimum of 10 orders is reached by sunday they will go for paint that friday(10/15/2010) and be shipped out monday morning(10/18/2010).

If minimum is not reached in time I will take away the deadline and leave it open ended until 10 orders are reached.

The reason 10 are needed is that my painter will not cut me a deal on less than that, and the urethane is too expensive in low quantities. I am able to get such a low price on these only when they are made in bulk.

Should I be paying to open this up in the group buy section?
