There has not been any pictures shown here of the strakes since the prototype. A very simple way to end the speculation would be for him to post some picks of the finished units whether they are the few good sets or the damaged sets.

I'm not taking a poke at you Doc, Rudy is not in California and that makes my post accurate. We know who was at the Root of the problem. I saw that one going pear shaped pretty early while others kept sending good money after bad.

The fact remains if you plan to develop a product it has to be done at your own expense, if you cannot fund the project you can really cannot expect anyone else to unless they are in for a cut of the profits. Let's face it this Strake project is pretty cheap to do and should not be beyond someones means, at least up to the custom painting.

The carbon fiber hoods are another similar project, with more money involved in a single part than the skirts. These projects are very risky and in the end left to the integrity of the manufacturer, if he goes belly up or decides he's not making enough money and decides to keep it all, then all can be lost.
Did anyone ever write an official, impartial opinion on the prototype hood? I only heard a word on it at the Dragon by someone who had seen it.

Seventy years has unfortunately made me a cynic.

Well, you are a brave man to mention this, I would not dare say what I think. You'll get flack for even suggesting that there could be something wrong here.
Poured urethane can be filled with bubbles which have to be filled if they appear on the outside faces.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

When have you ever been known to not say what you think regardless of the flack. Besides that, what he said is a reasonable suggestion no matter how you feel about what is going on. I think you are just trying to insight some bickering. Not that there is anything wrong with that. I do enjoy reading the petty bickering.

Thank you sir - I'm off the rest of the week and will install as soon as they arrive. Will post high resolution pictures so others can see the results on a red roadster.

I guess you have to see it to determine if it is a good look. Personally, red and black is a common combination and I can't wait to see what it looks like. Keep that mind open my friend

I saw it early on and wrote up my thoughts, but since I was not overly optimistic, I was immediately written off

Yes sir, that color came with the car. Maybe you thought the strakes were also black. I also happen to be pretty good with a airbrush if the color doesn't work out.

Do you have any pictures of the damaged ones or a picture of all of them at anytime?

Can you post a close up of a good set?

Have you sent the undamaged sets out yet?

Any idea of how long before you send the rest out?

Just looking for an update... Thanks in advance!!!

I just can't wait to see a completed set on a car and hopeful receive mine and get them installed.

He has some good ideas, I just hope things work out so he can bring them to the Crossfire Community!!!
