I used 2000 grit wet sandpaper, then Optimum HyperCompound on a cutting pad w/ Porter Cable x 2 passes, then Optimum Compound on green compound pad w/P.C. x 1 pass, then Optimum Polish on white polishing pad x 1 pass. Sealed with liquid Meguiars NXT wax. Like new.

I used the 3M restoration kit on my headlight, spent 2 hours on it, and it's the same, probably worse if anything, i followed all the instructions to the letter from the 3M site, the outside of the light is very smooth compared to the other light (which I haven't done) but there's still something in the way when the light is switched on...
Do you guys think that this is probably inside?
The pics, i've attached are actually before I did it, but it's moreless the same after... apart from some of the scratches have gone a bit...
