Scratch the "maybe," I just closed my hood with a ratchet underneath for the first time in my life. $500 estimate. I think i'll just take a new hood and save weight

Making lemonade.

Good Idea! The days are numbered!!! "A white crossfire with this hood design would look nice!" By the way, I have an extra stock OEM hood if you need it to get by.

FYI = An aftermarket stock hood has already been completed.

Actually I need to update my sig, I sold the alabaster coupe

But, I picked up an SSB SRT6...which personally I think will look VERY nice with the CF hood...in the event it doesn't, will this hood come paintable or will it require prep work?

That's good news! because I talked to the shop that does all my painting and they basically said that cheap-o fiberglass and CF hoods require TONS of prepwork to paint, but the good ones are no problem at all.

I have some feedback on the wings. The designers will be making a CF wing to complement the hood. The CF wings would allow customers to switch between the stock chrome like wing and a CF style wing at an additional price. I will be sure to have one of those tested also with very high resolution pics.

Thanks,

Mad,

You are the man, once we know how everything will look completely finshed, put me down for sure. I am only about 4-5 hours away and would drive over for that in a heartbeat.....

I think he's talking of the Chrysler logo chrome wing, not the wing wing.

I was talking about the Chrome Wings (Front and Rear), Nevertheless, If someone was willing to find me a SRT6 wing, that would be Cake and ICE Cream to make. (FYI.. a stock SRT Wing is $)

I think Rudy is facilitating the sale of a wing right now, I bet you may be able to persuade him or the buyer for it to make a stop in St. louis, the only problem is that for guys like Doc and Bob, it won't work, since it is a coupe wing, but it would allow more people to take advantage beacuse of the larger number of coupe owners, and I have to say, a CF SRT wing on my black beauty might be pretty nice as well

I need a roadster wing. Mine has stress cracks in it, and I would love to replace it with a cf one.

That would be nice, but only time, money, and someone with the actual part can help me pull this off. As far as hoods are concerned, it’s just a matter of time!!

One step at a time is the best approach. Good luck with your upcoming fit. I believe it is Saturday right?

This Weekend was the date. (I wish this was a cost plus incentive contract = every day late = -$ ITS NOT They are currently mocking up the emblem that one of the guys requested..... Sorry everyone. Anyways, I have the feeling we might only be getting completed pics of everything with the rest of my bill this weekend & parts shipped sometime next week. If everything goes as planned (TESTING), I should be running a bulk buy in the proper forum location with the right authorization around April 22nd. It will take them 20 working days to complete the Bulk Buy Order of 20 + units. More Units = Lower Price. The CF front emblem will be special order only. I will type everything up later once I can actually put a stamp of approval on this product and receive the final price quote.

Thanks
