Has anyone posted pics of their painted CF hood? I like the design but am turned off by the black carbon effect.

Also, are the vents inserts where they could be removed, finished in a trim color and reinstalled?

Yes, they can be removed and painted.

the Stock cf hood is great!!!!! The looks, fitment, weave is alll good! And no I will not part with it untill my revised factory hood is completed.

Right now I believe he is just selling the aftermarket hood. I don't think that he is going to produce the stock cf, but we will see.

I will keep my fingers crossed that he is back in town before I leave this week. He may not have any of the CF OEM hoods but I swear in my pm that is what he was saying he had 3 of in addition to the vented hoods. I asked if I could get one without vents and he said the following:

"There is a vented and none vented design. The none vented hood is a carbon fiber copy of a stock crossfire hood.

I do have 2 of them left.

Let me know ASAP if you want to be on the list, and you will be listed for receiving a Stock CF hood*"
