I was told the prototype should be ready in about 1 month for the front splitter. I guess its being treated as a small job now since its prime time for CF car and motorcycle parts!
As far as the price is concerned for the CF Hoods, don't expect me to post the final balances for anyone this time just to complete the bulk buy.

 

Is that spliiter for N/As? Man, I wish I could get lower-er lip on my SRT...that would look good, especially in CF.

 

N/A, but its pretty early in the development stage. Regardless, we can talk about it later using a personal message, or I'll start a thread for it following a fit test in about 1 month

Right now we need to focus on a solid 10 unit bulk buy for the CF hood design in this thread. Otherwise its a no go if a solid 10 don't show...

How much of a weight savings is this over the stock hood?

How much is the hood without a group buy? In other words if I want to buy one now?

Does the hood take the stock components to close and open? does it rattle? Does it close securely without me having to do anything stupid.

EDIT: Also will the CF wings be an option too? I think I would go for the entire thing if I jumped for this hood. And that price seems like a steal.

I am not sure if I missed it or not but can you get this hood but be able to put on the original wings?

 

The Original stock wing has tabs on the back. Those tabs will have to be removed and the wing will have to be fixed in place by using 3M.

 

Mad_Med05X has exceeded their stored private messages quota and can not accept further messages until they clear some space.

I think I would want to go with the stock non vented one. Are they the same price (another deciding factor?) I live in Reno, NV 89503 for Shipping purposes.

 

I believe that there is only one non-vented one sent to Rcompart (and then Beaner) that was a special request at the initial build before they molded the vents in...I don't know if Med can/will still do the hoods without the vents.
